🕹️ Gameplay Mechanics
Sliding Mechanics:
The game uses "slide-until-stop" movement. When you swipe or push a stack of donuts, it travels in a straight line until it hits a wall, an obstacle, or another stack. It does not stop mid-way!
Count & Fit:
Each stack displays a number (indicating how many donuts are in it). The empty slots in the box are designed to fit specific arrangements. You must ensure the stack you send in fits perfectly.
Sequence is Key:
This is the core challenge. Moving the wrong stack first might block the path for another stack, creating a deadlock.
You must plan the order of your moves carefully. Collection System:
Earn coins by clearing levels to unlock new donut flavors (skins) and background textures.
💡 Strategy & Guides
🔄 Work Backwards: Don't just make the first move you see. Look at the most difficult spot to reach in the box (usually a corner) and ask, "Which specific stack is the only one that can land there?" That is usually your starting point.
🚧 Use Items as Stoppers: Sometimes you need to slide a stack into a temporary position just to act as a "wall" or "stopper" for another stack. This helps you position items in the middle of the board where there are no natural walls.
🔢 Calculate the Space: Pay attention to the grid. If a gap requires 3 donuts, and you have stacks of 1 and 2, figure out the order to combine them or place them side-by-side.
🚫 Watch Your Path: Once a stack is boxed, it becomes a solid wall. Make sure filling one slot doesn't seal off the entrance to another empty slot behind it.
🏆 Editor's Choice
Here is why I recommend Donut Box:
Hardcore Logic in a Sweet Shell: Don't be fooled by the cute graphics. This isn't a mindless match-3 game. It combines "curling-style" physics with strict logic puzzles. The later levels are genuinely challenging.
Satisfying Feedback: The visual polish is high—the glaze on the donuts looks tasty, and the "click" sound when a stack slides perfectly into its slot provides immense satisfaction.
Pure Strategy: There are no timers or reflex tests. You can stare at the screen and simulate moves in your head for as long as you want. It is perfect for analytical thinkers.
Zero Friction: Fast loading times and intuitive controls make it an excellent choice for a quick mental workout during a break.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ (4.5/5) - A tasty test for your IQ.
