🕹️ Gameplay Mechanics
Random Summoning:
Spending gold summons a random Level 1 hero onto an empty slot.
You cannot choose the class (Archer, Mage, Knight, etc.); you have to work with what you get.
Merge to Evolve:
The Rule: Drag a hero onto another of the same level to create a hero of the next level.
Random Result: Merging two Archers might give you a higher-level Mage. The result type is often random, forcing you to adapt your strategy on the fly.
Auto-Combat:
Heroes attack automatically. Your role is purely managerial: Summoning, Merging, and Positioning.
Skills:
Unleash powerful spells (like Meteor or Freeze) when your mana bar is full to clear huge waves of enemies.
💡 Strategy & Guides
📉 Quantity > Quality (Early Game): Do not merge everything immediately! Two Level 1 Archers usually deal more damage per second (DPS) than a single Level 2 Archer. Fill your board with units first. Only merge when you run out of space.
📍 Positioning Matters:
Long Range: Place them in the center so they can hit enemies on multiple parts of the track.
Crowd Control (Slow): Place heroes that slow enemies near corners or the start of the path to bunch enemies up for your damage dealers.
💰 Save for Emergencies: Don't spend every coin the second you get it. Keeping a small reserve allows you to rapid-summon if a Boss is about to break through your defenses.
🎲 Manage the RNG: Since merging can change a hero's type, be careful about merging your only strong DPS unit during a wave. You might merge a strong Archer into a support unit right when you need damage!
🏆 Editor's Choice
Here is why I recommend Merge Heroes:
Addictive Loop: The combination of gambling (random summons) and strategy is incredibly hooky. You always want to play "just one more wave" to get that Level 5 hero.
Fast-Paced TD: It removes the slow buildup of classic Tower Defense games. You get right into the action immediately.
Visual Spectacle: High-level heroes have flashy attack animations. Watching a fully upgraded board melt a giant boss is very satisfying.
High Replayability: No two games are the same because of the random unit generation. You have to build a different strategy every time.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) - A strategic gamble that pays off in fun.
