Hey everyone, it's Olivia! Feeling a bit stressed lately and looking for a way to unwind? This game in your hand, Merge World, is the perfect "time-killer."

The graphics look fresh, right? Blue skies, white clouds, and cute little islands. But don't let this simple appearance fool you. If you don't plan ahead, you'll run out of land so fast you'll want to cry!

Based on the core gameplay elements shown in the screenshot, I’ve summarized 4 Core Strategies for new players. Read this, and I guarantee you’ll progress twice as fast as everyone else!

Strategy 1: Memorize the "Merge 5 into 2" Law

This is the Iron Law of the game! Many newbies (including my past self) see 3 logs on the ground and immediately drag them together. Don't do it! You are losing value!

Do you see the math? If you save up 5 items to merge, it’s like getting an extra item for free! In the early game when resources are scarce, "Hold back and wait for 5" is the most efficient way to play. Unless your map is completely full, please engrave "Merge 5" into your DNA.

Strategy 2: The Secret of the "Clouds" (Map Expansion)

See the large patches of snow covered by clouds? That is the "Fog Zone" we need to conquer.

Clearing the fog usually requires two conditions:

  1. Level Requirement: Look at the Blue Star in the top left corner (currently Level 1). That is your Player Level. You need to gain XP (the 14/25 bar) by merging items and completing quests.

  2. Magic/Energy: The Wand icon in the top right (4/4) is crucial. Unlocking dead land or purifying tiles often consumes this special energy. Don't waste it on random small grass; use your resources wisely to purify the edge tiles that connect to new areas.

Strategy 3: Organize Resources, Don't Build a "Junkyard"

Look at your current map—do the saplings, logs, and houses look a bit messy? The biggest enemy in merge games is "Clutter." Once it gets messy, you will make accidental merges.

I suggest you mentally divide your map into zones:

  • Bottom Left: Dedicated to Logs and Trees (since trees drop wood).

  • Top Right: Dedicated construction site for buildings.

  • Edges: Storage for "loose parts" that haven't reached a count of 5 yet.

Strategy 4: Follow the "Right-Hand Baton"

Many beginners get lost after a while: "Should I merge trees or flowers?" Listen to me: Follow the Quests.

Look at the Quest Board with the Green Feather Pen on the right. If the quest asks you to merge something, do it. Not only does it give you a goal, but the rewards are usually rare Stars or Coins (like the 354 coins at the top). This is the fastest way to level up in the early game.

Olivia's Final Ramblings

Games like Merge World are all about the "Satisfaction of OCD."

  • Don't rush to collect Coins: Seeing a coin on the ground? Don't tap it yet! Coins can also be merged and upgraded. Max-level coin blocks give way more money.

  • Workers need rest: That little wooden cabin (Worker Hut) is the workers' home. They need to sleep after working, so don't wear them out too fast.

Alright, that’s the guide! Remember: Patience for Merge-5, Organize your Zones. I wish you the best in building the most beautiful world above the clouds!

If you found this helpful, go merge some big trees in the game! See you next time!
