Shark IO Beginner's Guide: The Right Way to Dominate the Fish Pond
by SophiaShark IO Beginner's Guide: The Right Way to Dominate the Fish Pond

Your Goal: Kill other players and steal their points within the time limit. Attack Method: This isn't "big fish eat small fish"—it's swordfish-style stabbing! Your fish will have various weapons on its head. You need to speed up and rush your opponent, stabbing their body with your weapon to score. Survival Rule: As long as your weapon touches the opponent's side or rear (just like the Pufferfish with the crown taking out the opponent in the picture), they are done for, and you instantly get a point bonus (like +50 points)!

Yellow Lightning Bar: This is your "Speed Stamina." Hold the screen to speed up when escaping or attacking, but if you use it all up, you’ll swim sluggishly, so use it wisely. Top Right Leaderboard: The 1. PLAYER with the crown is the current overlord. If you want to take first place, keep an eye on their score and chase it.
Beginner Start: At first, you might only have the Shark or Diodon (Porcupinefish). Advanced Recommendations: Sparta: The fish wearing a helmet. It looks like it has high defense and gives a sense of security psychologically. Angler: Comes with its own lantern on its head. Unique styling, hard to ignore in a chaotic fight.
Unlocking Tricks: You’ll see many powerful characters (like Hawk or Whale) with a video icon on them. Take Sophia’s advice: watch a short ad to unlock them. Using high-tier characters in low-tier matches early on is basically cheating!

Beginner Weapon: Basic Sword. Plain and simple, but requires you to rely on positioning to make up for the lack of reach. God-Tier Recommendations: Poseidon (Trident) & Spear: These long-reach weapons are Sophia’s top recommendations! In IO games, Attack Range often determines life or death. If you are a little longer than others, you can take them out before they can stab you. Laser: Looks cool and comes with a futuristic tech vibe.
Funny Choice: Tobacco (Pipe). Low damage but extremely insulting. Perfect for mocking opponents in high-level matches.

Refuse Head-on Clashes: Unless your weapon is much longer than the opponent's, don't rush head-to-head. The best tactic is circling. Lure the enemy to chase you, then use your agile turning to suddenly pull a "reverse stab" into their flank. Kill Streak Rhythm: When you kill an enemy (and get +50 points), use that momentum to find the next target. Don't stop and stare, or you'll get ambushed. Use Ads Wisely: Preparation pays off. Spend a few seconds before the match to unlock a Poseidon or Ice Sword, and your win rate will increase by over 50%.
