How to Join (3 Steps)

1. Log in / Set display name: Visit /events/oct-challenge and log in or set your display name.

2. Pick a track & play:

3. Submit your score:

• Auto-tracked: Highest score auto-uploads after each run (requires permission).

• Screenshot: Upload a full, unedited screenshot (with level/score/name/time) and paste the game link.

New here? For screenshot submissions, keep the original image with key info visible—no heavy edits or crops.

Rewards & Bonuses

• Top 1–3: Limited badge + custom merch (T-shirt or coaster) + homepage feature slot (7 days)

• Top 4–10: Limited badge + random merch

Leaderboards & Scoring

• Each track has its own board. The overall board sums scores across the three tracks (DNF on a track = 0).

• Tiebreakers: Earlier completion wins, then fewer item/continue uses.

• Valid runs: Only during the event window and via the specified links/versions. Suspicious scores go to manual review.

• Refresh rate: Public leaderboard updates every 5 minutes: /events/oct-challenge/leaderboard.

Anti-Cheat & Review

• Auto checks: Anomalous framerate, speed mods, macro clicking, save tampering, etc.

• Manual review: Editors sample replays and raw logs.

• Penalties: Confirmed cheating ⇒ score wiped + future event ban.

UGC Submission (Optional)

• Video: Portrait or landscape, 30–90s recommended; show key steps and commentary.

• Article: 1–6 images + 200–600 words.
