The core mechanic is a fusion of Tetris-style block dropping and Line Elimination.
Falling Blocks: Magical rune blocks of various shapes fall from the top of the screen (similar to Tetris). Strategic Elimination: You must arrange and stack the blocks by rotating and moving them. When a horizontal line is filled or specific color connections are made, the blocks are eliminated.

Survival Challenge: As the game progresses, blocks fall faster, and the monsters become tougher. If the blocks stack up to the top, the Mage is consumed by the shadows, and it's Game Over.

Keeping a central "channel" open allows you to accommodate long bars or awkward shapes, which is often the key to saving a dying game.
Watch the Queue: The game usually previews the next block. Plan your placement before the block starts falling, not after.
