I. Tower Gallery & Practical Guide
There are 7 distinct tower types in the game. Mastering their unique roles is the key to a perfect defense.
1. Machine Gun

Description: Your bread-and-butter defense. It features an extremely high fire rate and the lowest construction cost.
Strategy: Mass-produce these in the early game (Waves 1-5). They are excellent for shredding "swarm" type enemies but lose effectiveness against heavy armor.
2. Slow Tower & Ice Tower

Description: These are "Control Towers." The Slow Tower uses toxins to hamper movement, while the Ice Tower provides a superior freezing effect.
Strategy: Never place these in isolation. Always position them next to high-damage units (like Missile Towers) to keep enemies trapped in your kill zone for as long as possible.
3. Missile Tower

Description: A heavy artillery unit dealing Area of Effect (AOE) damage over a long range.
Strategy: Place these in the center of the map. Their superior range allows them to cover multiple path segments, making them essential for mid-to-late game crowd control.
4. Laser Tower & Lightning Beam

Description: High-tech energy weapons. The Laser Tower deals ramping damage to single targets (the longer it fires, the higher the damage), while the Lightning Beam arcs between multiple enemies.
Strategy: Use Laser Towers at the end of a path to execute "Boss" units. Use Lightning Beams near the start to soften up groups.
5. Power Tower

Description: These towers deliver massive single-hit damage and often come with knockback or stun effects.
Strategy: Position them at the end of U-turns or sharp corners. As enemies slow down to turn, the Power Tower can deliver a devastating blow.
II. Ultimate Skills (Charging Required)
When your physical towers aren't enough, use these charged abilities found on the right side of the UI.
1. Power Buff

Description: Temporarily boosts the attack speed and damage output of all towers within the area.
Best Timing: Activate this when a Boss enters your densest cluster of towers to maximize burst damage.
2. Nuke

Description: A massive tactical strike that clears the screen or deals extreme AOE damage.
Best Timing: This is your "Panic Button." Save it for when a large group of enemies is about to reach your base and your towers are overwhelmed.
III. 3 Pro Tips for Victory
Quality over Quantity: One Level 3 Missile Tower is far more efficient than three Level 1 Machine Guns. Focus your gold on upgrading towers at key chokepoints.
Corner Strategy: Always prioritize building on the "inside" of corners (U-turns). This ensures the tower’s range covers the path for the maximum amount of time as the enemy walks around it.
Skill Management: Don't waste your Nuke just because it's ready. The final waves are significantly harder; keeping a Nuke in reserve can be the difference between a win and a loss.
